What are the 3 main themes of popular culture?

The study of popular culture is useful in many ways. Three themes of popular culture are that individual voices are valid, nothing is private, and celebrity status is no longer granted only to the most beautiful. This isn't coming from a moody place, from Andy Rooney. Nostalgia has become an important topic in everyday life, from fountains to fashion.

In one of the last episodes of The Sopranos, Tony said, “Remember when” is the lowest form of conversation. With that in mind, it's perhaps also the lowest form of design and culture, and it's time to move on. Since pop culture is basically the things within a culture that are considered popular, that is, the things that most people like the most, it is often considered a foolish thing of things that could be really great. Popular culture covers many topics and I think more details would be needed to clarify the subject area.

An example of this would be the Netflix original series Dynasty, where the main character Fallen Carrington falls in love with his African-American butler Michel Cullinhan. In January, Kurt Andersen wrote an article for Vanity Fair about the style's popularity over the past 20 years.
